This new series of highlights courses will be launched early March 2020. The courses will be taught live by our instructors. The courses contain twelve hours of online live lecture, 3 hours of online supervised study-hall with open Q&A, and one hour online supervised assessment test.

Instructors

The program is led by Dr. Zuming Feng. Zuming led the USA Math Olympiad team and its training program for 15 years and is one the most prominent math instructors in the USA and an expert on problem solving based curricula (from the secondary school to college level). He currently teaches at Phillips Exeter Academy, where he has supervised its math club for the last 25 years.

Zuming selects only the highest quality instructors for the program. Every member of our teaching group is a responsible and enthusiastic math educator with extensive problem solving experience.

ZOOM meeting will used. The ZOOM meeting link and teaching material will be posted into the IDEA MATH student’s account. The following items are the general guidelines for this class:

1. PC computer that ZOOM meeting can be run on (to test: https://zoom.us/test)
2. Quality internet connection to support video streaming.
3. Document camera (https://www.amazon.com/IPEVO-Definition-Document-Camera-5-880-4-01-00/dp/B079DLTG9F) that connects to PC computer so our instructor can view students work real time.
4. During classes, students are required to setup a quiet and comfortable environment with minimal distraction.
5. Besides a computer, pencil and paper are also required during classes.
6. Students may sometimes be asked to upload their homework/test work (link will be provided in their IDEA MATH account). This can be done by a scanner or taking quality pictures.

There will be no refund after tuition payment is made.
